Richard V. Eagles
Richard Eagles is an associate at the firm’s Ft. Lauderdale office. Richard currently focuses his practice in the area of first-party insurance defense, and he assists with premises liability and employment cases.
Richard studied law at University of Florida Levin College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, he was a judicial intern for the Honorable Jeffrey Levenson for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit court of Florida, was a competing member of the University of Florida Moot Court Team, and gained valuable practical experience as a Certified Legal Intern at the Law Offices of the Public Defender, for the Eighth Judicial Circuit.
Prior to joining the Firm as an associate, Richard served as an Assistant Public Defender at the Law Offices of the Public Defender for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit. During his tenure at the Law Office of the Public Defender, he tried and won numerous misdemeanor and felony jury trials.
Richard was born and raised in South Florida. He earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Florida, and a Master of Public Administration degree from Florida State University.
