Jonathan Aihie is an attorney who focuses his practice on first-party property insurance litigation.
Prior to joining the Firm as an associate, Mr. Aihie worked as an Assistant State Attorney at the Office of the State Attorney for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami. He was lead counsel on numerous jury trials during his tenure at the State Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Aihie graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was an Associate Editor of the Canada-United States Law Journal. While in law school, Mr. Aihie also clerked at the Eighth District Court of Appeals in Cleveland, Ohio, drafting opinions for both civil and criminal appeals. He also served as Certified Legal Intern in his school’s Civil Litigation Clinic, where he won an $80,000 judgment for his client in a business dispute.
Before law school, Mr. Aihie taught high school Chemistry through the Teach For America Program in Miami, Florida. He instilled goal-oriented instruction that increased student learning and exam proficiency.
Mr. Aihie graduated cum laude from Florida State University in 2010 with his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Mr. Aihie is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
